WHY STUDY MUSIC?

Musical practice has been proven to benefit a variety of development areas including but not limited to; social, cognitive, behavioural, and emotional.  Regardless of age, music making utilizes neurological pathways in our brains  that are sometimes not used in typical day to day activities.  Even as early of an age as a mothers womb, music has proven to have a positive effect of humans.
